Nerdy Nachos: Lee yes, the true naive ones here are the people that believe all humans are equal and should not be treated differently based on genetics. And God forbid believing evidence, I mean, really? Evidence? Who needs evidence when you have a book that says it’s real!?

Jerry : Shory … And what exactly does it mean to “have a heart against God”?
Shory: Jerry. I’m sure you understand what I mean, but I’ll go a little more in depth. Having a rebellious nature toward the thought of sin. Proverbs states that every non believer will say “I am good”, and believe that he is good on his own will. The bible tells us different, and informs us that we are responsible for our actions in life, as we can see that happens to be true about life. Yet people hate “Christianity” or the God the bible speaks of, because they are not deemed irresponsible and able to just have fun. I see it a lot, it’s written in scripture. I came out of the same matrix that holds so many today, and I was amazed at how blatant it is that scripture is true.
Jerry: Shory. Three questions:
1. Why should anyone take what the Bible says seriously?
2. Why should anyone like Christianity?
3. Why should anyone like the God of the Bible?
Shory: Jerry
1. Because it has been confirmed as the oldest and most relevant piece of documentation in the history of mankind. The scriptures contain nearly 300 fulfilled prophecies, and counting. The Old Testament itself is capable of validation through methods modern science has just recently discovered through technical advances.
2. It’s not about “liking” Christianity, it’s about accepting God and being born again. Saying a word or mantra doesn’t get you saved. Going to church and getting baptized DOESNT get you saved. Only, accepting Christ spiritually, and truthfully will one receive the gift of eternal life through Christ. Your perception is fogged on that.
3. Who wouldn’t LOVE a God, gave you the breath of LIFE. That witnessed His creation fall to sin and deceit, KNOWING that man would fall short of perfection to connect back with Him, He seeded His “Only Begotten Son” into the world, to live as a man yet walk as God in the flesh. He felt pain, hunger torture and deep sadness and loss so that YOU AND I could believe on Him, and be saved through THAT action. No man cometh to the Father now, accept through Jesus Christ. The same God that blew breath in Adams nostrils, gave up HIS last breath as a man, to redeem the ENTIRE population He created. God is eternal, He could’ve just wiped us out and been in the right by doing so, for He is God. But He loves each of us, knows our every like and dislike because HE MADE US. Your perception of Gods “mind” and intentions are imagination filled, comparisons to yourself. God is NOT like you and I, He is not a man that He should lie. When He told them they would die when they ate of the tree, they surely did. They didn’t fall dead immediately, yet they died because of sin. Sin brought forth by US.

1a. The Bible is NOT the oldest piece of documentation. Please, go do your research.
1b. What counts as relevant is subjective. Just because the Bible may be the most relevant piece of documentation to you and probably other Christians, it doesn’t mean others from other religions or non-religious people see it as such.
1c. Please give examples of fulfilled prophecy in the Bible.
1d. What exactly do you mean when you say the Old Testament is “capable of validation through methods modern science has just recently discovered”?
As for points 2 and 3, I have these two questions:
A. What evidence do you have for the existence of a God?
B. Assuming you have evidence for the existence of a God, what evidence do you have that that God is the Christian God, and not the God of any of the multitude of other religions?
Shory: Jerry Your right, the bible is not THE oldest piece of documentation known to man. The emerald tablets date back furthest, and they show a time on earth were angels were here before HUMANS. I never said the bible was just the oldest, I said the oldest documentation with RELEVANCE in our current generation and time. The Old Testament speaks of information given to Abraham from God. God told His people to circumcise the boys on the 8th day of the life cycle. While this may seem as nothing, recent medical discoveries have shown doctors that the 8th day, is the ONLY day in a man LIFE, were clotting is at a MAX, nearly 100%. On the 8th day, for some reason Prothrombin is most present in the child, and that provides the elements needed for MAX or perfect clotting levels. Abraham had no other way of knowing this unless He was truly told by God to circumcise on the 8th day.
Lee : Shory it’s not the oldest but is the most accurate.
Shory: Lee Right. I know there are several manuscripts, or writings that pre date the Bible supposedly, but I was saying it’s the oldest, most RELEVANT to this day and age. There isn’t another one out there that describes the world and its people the way the bible does. If I’m not mistaken the emerald tablets are the oldest known right?
Lee: Shory agreed. The bible is the only book that accurately describes man and has prophecies that have been fulfilled.
Jerry: Shory you’re gonna address the rest of my post, right?
Shory: Jerry Yes I am. This verse basically sums up what I’ve been telling others for a long time. You can’t expect to gain DIVINE revelations and proof, when you’re spiritually DEAD. You deny any type of supernatural due to a lack of physical evidence. The bible, AND your brain are all PROOF of God, and that’s about all you will find in a natural or physical sense. I can’t show you a picture of God, because NO MAN hath seen the face of the Father and lived to tell us about it. If you want hardcore proof of Gods reality, then ask HIM for it and stop relying upon mere men likened to yourself.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned,
Jerry : Shory There’s no need for the preaching, thanks. Just address the rest of my post. I was helpful enough to arrange the points by numbering and lettering them to make my post easier to address.
Shory : Jerry I just did my friend, if that’s not enough for you then my apologies, I’m not the person you’re looking for. I wasn’t aware that I was held to a certain standard of evidentiary proof that you happen to be unrestrained by. Shouldn’t you have to show proof why their ISNT a possibility for God before you believe that in context?
Jerry: Shory Well, I thought it was only reasonable to expect someone who believes in such a big thing as a God, to have actual evidence for such a big belief. I guess I thought wrong. My apologies. By the way, where are you getting that my position is there isn’t a possibility for God? Are you in the habit of making baseless assumptions about people?
Shory: Jerry No you weren’t wrong for that, you were just assuming that you can receive “Revelation” from God as an unbelieving sinner. That isn’t how it works. You’re looking for 100% truth before you believe and that’s not the essence of faith in God. And I did assume that since you asked ME for evidence of Gods existence or the possibility of. My bad though.
Nerdy Nachos: Shory I was spiritually in a spiritual car crash and I spiritually died. I also asked God he’s just taking a few years to get back to me. He did ask you for evidence and like so many before you, you’ve failed to provide it. Responding instead with “You just have to believe it really hard.”
Shory: Nerdy Nachos I here that, and I didn’t just respond with “You gotta believe”. I responded with detailed information and scripture to back up what I’m saying. The fact that you relay your car crash as a spiritual attempt at connecting with Christ, validates that a carnal mind CANT understand such things. There’s no try here and maybe it’ll happen, type method to accepting Christ in spirit and TRUTH. Those who are saved know exactly what I mean. I don’t have a pic of God. He doesn’t have Facebook. So the type of evidence you’re seeking isn’t in physical form. There is validation of scripture and accuracy, concerning mankind’s history on earth. I’ve given several examples that corroborate my claims that scripture remains accurate and correct even in our modern society. That’s what I’m showing evidence of.
One Last Say from the Couch…
Elaine: One thing I have found in wisdom from Father God … 2 Timothy 2:15 (Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.)
During Leviticus 25: 44-46 as Dusty refers to. This was taken out of context. We must reference the whole chapter to see the brilliance of Father God’s intentions. Man had shortly been delivered from the hands of slavery in Egypt. Now they were given a new platform concerning labor. Message being “Man should pay for what he owes”. Father God was launching man into the workforce.
Back when this was written every man did not have money or wealth. This is when credit was established. Dusty left out one fact… man could sell himself as a slave to pay off debt. Which is referred to today as a … JOB. Many times wives were taken during the stay and families increased. Creating more debt. If the debt were worked off and sometimes it was, you were free to go. Only during jubilee … Leviticus 25: 13-17 was all debt deemed paid in full by Father God.
Now. Let’s look at Exodus 21 but, starting from the beginning of the chapter.
1. Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.
2. If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
3. If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.
The other scriptures Dusty quoted … Go back and check them out for yourselves. They only tell you how to act when you’re working off your debt. Be nice and respectable. With the exception of Luke 12:47-48. There Jesus is explaining a parable.
So as you can see subject is always the link to understanding… Nothing else can be said but, think for yourselves…..That’s how we see it here on … TMC.
